On February 6, 2009, Mandiri Tunas Finance officially became a subsidiary of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. ("Bank Mandiri") through the signing of the deed of sale and purchase of purchasing 51% stake in Bank Mandiri Tunas Finance, namely from PT Tunas Ridean Tbk ("Turi") by 26% and PT Tunas Mobilindo Parama (TMP) by 25%.

On the other hand, PT Tunas Ridean Tbk ("Turi"), a group of companies that serve the automotive solutions provider of consumer automotive needs of Indonesia, including the holder of automotive brand Toyota, Daihatsu, BMW, Peugeot and Honda motorcycles, after sales service, used cars, consumer finance and automotive rental facility. In line with this alliance, brand "Finance Branch" changed to "Mandiri Tunas Finance". This strategic alliance will enhance the ability of Mandiri Tunas Finance to compete and improve performance in the future. Mandiri Tunas Finance will also be able to optimize this cooperation to expand its network.
